Charity is the founder and current President/CEO of the Michigan Black Business Alliance (MBBA). MBBA is a membership based organization that seeks to help close the racial wealth gap by creating programs and advocating for policies that result in thriving Black owned businesses. 

Charity is the proud owner of Detroit Rosa. Rosa is Detroit's coffee brand. Our flagship cafe  islocated in Rosedale Park and is affectionately referred to as grandma's house, it is a community gathering hub for the City. Rosa's second location is just on Detroits Riverfront in the Residences at Watersquare

Charity is the founder of the Lead the Change movement. Lead the Change is dedicated to advocating for political change through policy advocacy and political education. Lead the Change unapologetically advocates for issues that promote equity and justice for Black people and the restoration of Black wealth in America.
